Automatic Packet (Position) Reporting System (APRS)

Where am I now? The APRS button below will take you to a map showing my current location and my travels for the last 24 hours. My current location can be identified by the vehicle labeled with my Amateur Radio Callsign and the number '5' (KD8FTS-5). APRS is a packet radio communication system developed by amateur radio operators. It can be used to exchange digital information between two stations using amateur radio. Many amateur radio operators make use of this system to transmit position and tracking information. Click on the APRS button below to see a map of my location and my recent travels.
